to be its preferred provider for home care services. VNSA,
in its 60th year of offering care, was selected based on
reputation for quality service and longevity in the
community. The mission of VNSA is to improve the health and
lives of our patients and community. VNSA serves clients in
Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Wayne and surrounding
counties, and is a member of the Akron General Health
System.

Skilled Nursing
Care: VNSA provides skilled
home care in the comfort of your own home by professionals,
including specialized care for conditions such as Diabetes
and Congestive Heart Failure, as well as rehabilitation
therapies.
Personal Care
Services: VNSA provides
services such as Home Health Aides to help
with bathing, mobility, meals, medication reminders and
errands; Sitter Companions to offer
companionship at home or during a hospital stay; and
Same Day Surgery care to transport to and from the
surgery facility, prepare meals, pick up prescriptions and
assist with personal care.
Hospice & Palliative Care:
VNSA provides hospice are for persons in the last phases of
a life-limiting illness wherever they live—at
home, in nursing facilities and also at the Justin T. Rogers
Care Center on Ridgewood Road in Akron—preserving
independence and dignity.
Infusion Therapies:
VNSA provides prompt, efficient and professional infusion
therapy at home for pain management, intravenous nutrition,
antibiotics, etc.
Medical Equipment and
Supplies: VNSA provides wheelchairs, hospital
beds, lift chairs, diabetic supplies, oxygen cylinders and
systems, CPAP devices for sleep apnea, and much more!
